This, this is a fairly early little collection of brushstrokes and scribbles. In fact it was my first proper canvas painting. Of course, it still sports a mandatory Nessie cameo but also, in this particular one, it showcases the audacious creature that is the penguin. Being all bold and flippant as it is with it’s formal wear and its absolutely necessary monocle.

Whilst this little creation may not sport any flying saucers or USS Enterprises it does have Brachiosaurus’s. They’re silhouettes, but they’re Brachiosaurus silhouettes dammit!

I like to think of everything I paint as a warning for all manner of impending doom’s. Primarily, I seek to spread information and hope whilst we stand on the brink of annihilation from Killer Ducks but I also want to shamelessly flaunt a Scottish national icon in everything I create and all the while show my undying affection for Penguins as the saviours of the human race in the aforementioned, fast approaching apocalypse.

Also, my name’s Ruairidh, I like Batman and marrying camping chairs.
