Thinking
I really like the beat of this one. It’s fun to read aloud if words don’t get all tangled up in your mouth like they do with me.
Thinking belongs to the following groups:

it’s gotten in trouble, you see
i think that i’m thinking much more than i’m blinking
so what do you think it could be?
see somehow this thinking
it got me to thinking
of thinking and thinking some more
and somewhere in thinking my thoughts began thinking
of pacing and counting to four
thought one
thought two
thought three
thought four
and then i would count some more
one and two and three and four
thinking and thinking much more
and first all my thoughts i was packing in boxes
keeping them tight, you see
but my thoughts began thinking they’d rather be box-less
and thinking they’d rather be free
so now like this
five four six
thoughts with no order, you see
so thoughts became piled and tangled and trapped
trapped in pile of free
so what do you think i should do with this thinking?
the clutter of order-less thoughts?
i’m thinking of thinking and counting to four
and putting them back in a box
