My name is Trent and I am from St. Louis, Missouri. I have an engineering background. I regret not owning a camera earlier in life. I started taking photos in November of 2005 (I use a Sony DSCH-1). The website www.takegreatpictures.com has some great information and tips (I have no connection to the site). I found RedBubble while looking for on-line photo contests. I think this is a great website and I am absolutely amazed at some of the great photography and art that this site displays.
I find that the area around my friend’s farm near Bellflower seems to be the theme in most of my favorite pictures. This single mindedness was not my intention. I do love spending time out there. Maybe it’s just that I don’t travel enough. As I look through some of the awesome work on here I find myself wondering what the artists on here would come up with after seeing the same locations. Would they focus on some of the same subjects as I have? Would there pictures and art tell an entirely different story? I think it would be interesting to see the results. I will ask my friend if I can invite all of you out for a weekend.
I appreciate all the positive comments I have already recieved after posting only a couple of photographs. I look forward to hearing from more of you and posting more pics.
Thanks,
Trent
