Artist's Description

“The Pale” is one of the original illustrations for the first print issue of Insects & Angels I, the Black Cat & Poisoned Tea Society. Issue I was released in time for Halloween 2010 and our first collection of artwork created for the issue was based upon Dracula’s brides. Our long time friends and original Capricorn (the original print version of I&A published in the early 90s) contributor Brittany Blase donated a variety of bridal gowns to us from her shop B. Ella Bridal. Photographer Jim Gebben photographed our two models -local burlesque & butoh performers Rachel Finan and Audria Larsen. Bethalynne created the final artwork for the Brides collection.
