Seasoned by the Sea #1
Despite the extremely corroded condition of this wheel hub, the tractor to which it belongs is still in regular use hauling fishing boats from the water on the beach at Seal Rocks, NSW, Australia.

G’day Prasad,
First again!
A big THANK YOU for coming to Seal Rocks to see what the sea has done to this tractor wheel hub and for leaving such a great encouraging comment for my rusty efoerts.

Great colors and textures in the image. If that tire ever goes flat I’d hate to be the person that has to break down that split rim.

Wonderful to know that rusty old things are still useful Dennis – gives me hope!!! Great detail in this as always – a tactile pic!

G’day Bryan,
Thank you very much for that!
Your “Great…” wrap for my rusty hub is much appreciated.
If it got a flat I doubt if they would even try to undo that corroded mess. I think they would just pump it up with one of those high pressure repair kits. Then again, they might not even do that as the tractor never leaves the sandy beach.
