THE SUBJECT:
A partially buried piece of chain uncovered by the receding tide.

THE LOCATION”:
It was photographed very early in my photographic “career” beside the Hastings River at the Boundary Street ferry wharf in Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia, on bright spring day.

    It must be just me but I can’t see what all the fuss is about with this photograph. Somehow it became very, very popular when it was made the Rusty Crusty and Falling to Bits Group’s avatar some time ago. I’m not complaining though. Any publicity is good publicity.
