What a lovely sheen this seed pod has. It’s shown off so well against the dark background.
I’ve never seen a pod like it and have to admit i thought it was a macro of a coffee bean at first glance :) Cheers

Lovin the contrast here Dennis, and that shallow trickle of natural light on the tips of the Pod set the whole image up with its deep dark tones. Really like this alot Dennis :)

G’day CATHY, MIA, CRIS & STEVIE,
Your quartet of interesting, encouraging and supportive great wraps for this vacant seed container is much appreciated folks.
Cathy: Perhaps I should have made myself clearer. My Photoshop reference above was about the metallic look this pod has. I did however follow my usual work flow in Photoshop to “develop” my original digital image as always.

G’day Adgray,
I am so glad to tease you! We all need a little tease every now and then. 8-)
Thank you so much for your interesting feedback on this shot and on my descriptions. I believe they are a most important part of presenting a piece of work, especially if the subject is vague or just simply something people have never seen before.
