I made this summertime late afternoon railway photograph while waiting for a Port Macquarie Panthers Camera Club friend’s train to arrive at Wauchope Railway Station, NSW, Australia.
I really like the light and perspective.

    G’day SAMANTHA, ROSALIE & DEB,

A triple whammy great wrap for my Rlwy Stn sunset. Thank you x3 girls for your interest in trains ‘n’ fings. Glad it caught your collective eye.

Sam: ‘Ullo! ‘Ullo! ‘Ullo! Long time no see. Nice to see you on RB.

Rosalie: That perspective is what made me think about making this shot. I stood on the station platform and my eye was drawn along the track and over the bridge. How could I pass up an opportunity like that?

Deb: True to form the train was 40 minutes late!

    G’day Marvin,

Yup! That late afternoon light models the main elements very well. Once again I exposed for the light, not the subject.

Thank you for your interest in railways and for your “Great shot..” wrap for this steely effort.
