Sunset Moorings #2
This golden riverside sunset was photographed from the south bank of the Hastings River at the Boundary Street Ferry Wharf in Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia , on a chilly but brilliant winter evening.
White Balance was difficult so I used my White Balance Lens cap and made a Custom setting.
I had also discovered that the 1/500sec Shutter Speed works wonders with sunsets.
Fuji S9600; f/3.8; 25mm; ISO 100; Spot Metering; Centre Focussing; Tripod mounted; 11-06-07/4:51pm.

Gee, I don’t know how you get those crisp reflections in the water, Dennis. Of course it must be your processing.
Your toning is wonderful, lots of details in the boats, and the distant, misty hills in the background are beautiful.

Kofoed: The reflections are obtained through the exposure and are only enhanced by the processing. There is no Photoshop trickery it. Being in the right place at the right time is the only “secret” mate.
