THE SUBJECT:
The sole figure of a man strolling along the beach is made miniscule by the great forces of Nature around him.
THE LOCATION:
This seascape was shot at Lake Cathie, NSW, Australia on cold, wet, stormy winter afternoon.
THE MAKING OF ‘Alone’:
I was out cruising my favourite locales south of my home in Port Macquarie when I spotted this lone figure.
His small presence in such a vast scene impressed upon me the true insignificance of Man on this planet.
Fuji S9600: RAW, f/3.7 @ 1/1400sec, Auto focus, ISO80, Hand held.
Lightroom 2.2 & Photoshop CS3.
