THE SUBJECT:
This state champion waterskier cuts through the water sending up a wet curtain as he lines up for the next buoy during the 2009 Australian National Waterski Titles.
THE LOCATION:
Photographed at the Stoney Creek Holiday Park, Telegraph Point water skiing complex of man-made lakes, just north of Port Macquarie , NSW, Australia.
THE MAKING of ‘Curtain Maker #6’:
Once again mostly overcast conditions with varying light made consistent exposures difficult. For a series of shots I prefocussed then followed the action to the focussing point.
Fuji S9600: RAW, Manual settings of f/4.9 @ 1/1600sec, Auto focus, ISO80, Hand held
Lightroom 1.1 & Photoshop CS3.
