The Ripple Effect
I caught this Larus novaehollandiae (Silver Gull) just as it rose from the water after taking a bath in the river’s fresh water at low tide while taking a winter afternoon stroll along Westport Park on the south bank of the Hastings River, Port Macquarie , NSW, Australia.
It was not until after I made the shot that I noticed the marvellous ripple effect and the great position of the gull.
Fuji S5500: High resolution jpg, 1/500sec @ f/5.6, ISO 100, hand held.
Lightroom 1.1 & Photoshop CS3 for tweaking.
