Many, many thanks to you both for your concise yet extremely encouraging comments for the lunar effort.
The south end of Town Beach is always good for a seascape with lots of rocks, waves, a sloping headland, silhouettes etc but to have this surfer simply walk into shot was a real bonus.

Twice while I was standing in the wet sand I was concentrating so hard on the shot that I didn’t see the larger than usual wave come in and cover mine and my tripod’s feet. A lot of fun though.

Sir Edmund Hillary was asked why he climbed Mount Everest, to which he replied, “Beacuse it was there.” 8-)
I left it in for two reasons Larry. One was that it was just another feature in the scene and the other was that after resizing I wanted to keep as much of the scene as possible. This was very slightly cropped.
