Surfing the Suds
THE SUBJECT:
As the tide receded the surf was churning the water into a lot of froth in the break area and this dedicated surfer rode his wave right into it.
THE LOCATION:
Another winter in Port Macquarie , NSW, Australia and another great season for some bodyboard action at Town Beach as the surf breaks closer to my spot on the end of the breakwater and the winter sun gives me some great light.
THE MAKING of ‘Surfing the Suds’:
Fuji S9600: RAW, 1/800sec @ f/6.4 ISO80, Continuous focus.
Lightroom 1.1 and Photoshop CS3.

This li’l beauty has won me a Merit Certificate in the Port Macquarie Panthers Camera Club’s July 2008 Open Competition in the Large Colour Print Section.
