Taken while cruising lazily up or down (It was often confusing) on the Nile in Egypt. The types of accomodate you could see the from boat ranged from shacks or lean-toos made of palms, to more majestic style places like this. I was told that often the owners of Palm plantations along the rich strip of green on either side of the Nile frequently do very well, and hence can afford such lavish houses compared the majority of the locals.
