Who Left A Pyramid On My Back ?
I knew I couldn’t come back from Egypt without a shot of the Pyramids and a shot of the Sphinx, so I thought I’d save space and take them both in the same shot. A fair bit of experimentation has taken place in the processing department with a few new techniques I’ve trialled, so feel free to tell me its crap if you don’t like it.
Who Left A Pyramid On My Back ? belongs to the following groups:

Wonderful!! They look great together!!.Fantastic capture
Tom Gomez
Can’t think why they didn’t do it that way in the first place. I suppose its a bit late to submit a design change now?
Sara Lamond
Craig – this is a wonderful image – great exposure on the sphinx (which I’m sure wasn’t easy in the desert!) and great processing :)
Rod Wilkinson
Just needs a camel :) Seriously though, great capture and processing, very natural looking. Well Done

Eyal Nahmias
A classic image of the Sphinx with excellent composition, light and color. A well captured image and another great addition to the Art of the Middle East group.
Melanie Dooley
It’ is nice to see such an iconic monument from a different angle.
And the ironic thing is that the Sphinx is so small, relative to the pyramids.
This shot makes it look so much bigger! Well done Craig.
Craig Goldsmith
If you look really close on the larger version you can see the trig station on top of the Pyramid too :)
Albert1000
Wow, very nice I must say.
Deborah Fuller

Neophytos
Nicely design ,blended and processed, and the result is simply Magnificent , I’m sure the spirit of the Pharaoh’s will thank you
bodymechanic
never being to eygpt i never would of known that the pyramid didnt belong there,so well blended!
Craig Goldsmith replied
Steve – No blending required that’s where it is, its just a trick in the perspective that makes it look like its on the Sphinx’s back rather then on the hill behind the Sphinx.
Keegan Wong
i love the cloudy blue sky. this is an awesome shot of the Sphinx great work.
Sprinkle
I think this is great! It’s not the traditional sphinx shit that you always see. And the bright blue sky just adds to it’s glory.

LOL! I struggled to find a good view from this vantage point, particularly the placement of the Sphinx and said pyramid. In the end, nothing I really liked from that spot! This works, tho. I love those mad clouds you had! Wow!
