Friends of ours spent some time staying in a spot that was only a few hundred metres away from there… unfortunately, I have never been there, but one day… maybe!!!

Thanks guys, my wife was in the car it was blowing a gale, raining and I felt bad for her so kept this photo shoot to 20-30 minutes, I wish I hadn’t now as my favourite shots so far in my trip have all been taken at night.

Craig, this is just the most perfect shot I’ve ever seen of Le Mont Saint Michel. Well done. I haven’t quite made it to this stunning part of the world yet, just to it’s English counterpart. But if that is anything to go by, I think it’ll be the first stop on my next trip to Europe!

Theia – I really encourage you to visit, it’s well worth it, not just seeing it from where this shot was taken, but to go inside and see the abbey etc

Wow, you went in the evening!
I went during the day and it was still freezing and windy and freezing!
I got some nice shots of the place though I did wish for a less cloudy sky.
I really like how the abbey looks like a castle from a fairytale at night!

Craig, been to Mont St. Michel several times. I think this is the nicest shot I’ve ever seen of it, and so cool that you took it at twilight and in those conditions. Your comp is excellent with the waterway leading to the mount. Great shot!

I agree with Jodi! It’s probably one of the best photos I’ve ever seen of this magical place. I love Brittany and its windsept, rainy coasts. I’ve visited Mon Saint Michel many times and feel you really have captured its glittering, enigmatic ambiance.
