Bridge in the Valley

Bridge in the Valley

This shot was taken while traveling through the Scottish Highlands, I loved the “wee bridge” and how insignificant it seems against the impressive terrain. The moody clouds also add to the scene and the feeling that this truly is a magic place.

I love the depth of this vally and it really makes you feel like the bridge, very small. the clouds are a nice contrast.

Gordon – This was from our June-July Trip 07, it seriously is one if not the most beautiful place I’ve ever been and has provided many lovely images already to my portfolio.

This is a magnificent scene you have captured here Craig… I agree with the bridge… it reminds us of how minute we are compared to our environment that surrounds us… well seen and done!

mate – the interlocking shapes just work so damn well here… love the flow of energy in this piece! What an incredible landscape, and choosing to go monochromatic is perfect as it gives it a truly surreal nature. Impressive work Craig!

Glencoe? Ohhhh, that’s a familiar name… lots of doom and heartbreak, and seeing it like this makes it real.

I never would have noticed the bridge had you not said.

The scale was immense enough before, and those clouds don’t half look menacing – Overall a great capture

My guess is this is the West Highland Line near Tyndrum?

By the way, my clan is from Glencoe.
