Yes, the blur gives the sense that the viewer is moving. Also, add a bit of darkness to his aura. Great.

this is a fantastic shot – i love it!!! I love the the colours/tones – has a real street feel and the blurring really isolates the man – it feels like a really spontaneous shot and i like it for that.

This is really well done, Craig. The motion blur gives the feel of Paris as a whole: a busy city with people and cars bustling past. This shot feels like he is just sitting and enjoying his baguette as the world passes by around him.
