Reflections
Mangrove shoots are reflected in the calm water in a local wetlands reserve (marsh for our overseas friends). This was taken on a nature walk just a km from my house.

It’s very beautiful and delicate :]

Gorgeous! I love that it’s just the slightest bit abstract =)

i like the simplicity of this, the exposure is perfect, which isnt easy to do with full sun on water, handled it very well

This is gorgeous!!!!!! I love the ripple in the bottom right corner!!!!
Craig Goldsmith, about 1 year ago
Thanks Nancy for mentioning that , as I did have a perfectly still version, but then I caught a ripple from a baby mullet in the shallows. I thought it worked well as it showed it really was water, the perferectly still one, looked almost fake as it was too perfect.

What a beautiful shot! I love the small ripples in the foreground adding movement and showing you where the water is and the uninterrupted mirror surface of the rest.

Hi Craig! Or shall I call you Brett? Anyway what a lovely day today was`nt it? we`ll do it again!
Anyway, Gorgeous pictures yours! I had a quick look through and at first glance this pictures with
its semplicity and the quite surroundings (I gues) reminds me of of a prospective that Monet would `ve chosen. Nice!

I agree with Cadence about the “slightest bit abstract”. I love how you’ve captured the whole refelction of the shoots. Sometimes the shot looks like two demensional lines and then you see it for what it is. Simple and clever.
