Wow, how rude for me not to reply! To everyone thank you so much, and always, for such wonderfully encouraging comments. When I am working from home in my tiny studio and feel particularly lonely they help to keep the feelings of ‘giving up and getting a real job’ at bay… truly, thankyou!

innocentgirl
kimbaross – thanks so much!
marieancolie – thank you, this story was on the news every night for over a month whilst I was living in Japan…. couldn’t get over the fact the girl was so emotionally disconnected from her own mother that she could poison her and watch her slowly die while recording the process so scientifically in an online diary (btw that’s how she got caught). Spooky, yet intriquing.
Peter Coleman
I wondre if she wanted to get caught? Great piece .really like the subdued colours
