I have mild synesthesia and while observing the spring sunshine catching on airborne dandelion seeds I had a sensation of tiny sugar coated pills in my mouth. It seemed natural to draw the sensation as tiny beads of tone to reflect this fleeting feeling. This Rumi quote expresses the feeling of aliveness I felt around me that day, I could see, taste and feel life around and within.
