First sale
Well, I made my first sale ever off my art.
It was a postcard, so I made under a dollar. ;-P
But, gahds, I am really happy about it. And it was of my Steampunk ARTWORK!
I am enjoying Redbubble and the ‘class’ of photographers that tend to populate it.
So, a big thanks to Aishling ( http://www.redbubble.com/people/fluffyvw ) for turning my onto Redbubble!

Thank you! Actually, it was my robotic steampowered armadillo, Steamus Dasypus. Which was hilarious, I drew that and the Steampunk City for an art competition my friends and I hold on a forum.
The armadillo was rated the highest that month, but the head decided my City was more appropriate for the theme. lol!

Yeay- They are both great x

BTW- I haven’t a scooby what Steam Punk is, you might want to educate me on that- I’m an old punk, so I should get it x

LOL, okay! Steampunk is sort of a new trend/style that’s even becoming a lifestyle for many. It’s of the design and notion of the ‘Steam’ engine era, but has expanded beyond that. Sort of the turn-of-the century in the future, where ladies can wear bustle skirts and men top hats, but have airships and pack lasers.
Think of Jules Verne’s novels, adventures and invention in sort of a era-of-discovery and hammered-brass look. Think zeppelins
So actually, it can also be futuristic and sci-fi with a retro design.
Here’s Wikipedia’s general surmise- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steampunk
