Who's purchased a canvas print

Posted over 2 years ago

Since the introduction of the canvas print into the RB sales department, I’ve not noticed much feedback re quality.

Maybe they don’t sell too many, so far I have purchased mounted and framed prints, very happy with the quality.

I plan to purchase some canvas, so… any comments??

Using RB to frame prints

Posted over 2 years ago

As part of a marketing strategy during a family portrait shoot, I showed a framed print that I purchased through RB to the family.

The idea was to show the quality of framing that I could provide them with.

They were so impressed with the quality they have ordered 4 framed prints of their kids portraits.

Wedding Guests Annoy Me

Posted over 2 years ago

At a wedding shoot on the weekend I got a bit frustrated with pestering and impeding wedding guests.

Its stressful enough trying to get the shots that count, but when guests get in the way and nag me to take photos of less important candid shots it really makes my camera lens fog up, so to speak. I’m sure that all wedding photographers have similar problems.

The introduction of the afford…

Delighted customers

Posted over 2 years ago

I delivered 4 framed portrait prints to a customer yesterday, they were totally delighted with them. So delighted she said to bring any customers to their house and see how great they looked in the frames.

I have to get back sometime and get a shot of her with them and post them in the buyers booth

Its great to have an effiicient selling resource

Thanks RB

Thinking of Xmas

Posted over 2 years ago

We all know that xmas is getting closer, yes it comes around every year and its a pain in the butt when you have to buy presents.

Its a pain because the shops get busy and you don’t know what to get the parents, the spouse, friends etc…

So whats a solution? sell your works of art to all those people out there that suffer the same dilemma, through RedBubble of course.

Meatballs or Rissoles?

Posted over 2 years ago

II thought I would cook some rissoles tonight, I normally buy them pre-made from the local supermarket, but tonight I’m gonna make em myself.

I was looking up some recipes and during my search I thought are they rissoles of meatballs. Normally after eating balls of mince and onion they turn out to be fart balls!

Festival of the Miners Ghost, Boo!

Posted over 2 years ago

Its a busy week here in Cobar as we have the festival of the miners ghost festival on this week.
It sounds scary but its not really, its much like Halloween but not as scary.

In fact I don’t have a clue why Cobar celebrates it, just an excuse to have fireworks, markets, a catholic church dinner, kite flying, golf games and a holloween ball (atwhich everyone gets the wobbly boot).
I’ll be b…

Outback Rain, its about time

Posted over 2 years ago

We have had the most rain recorded for the month of November for more than a decade.
More than 160mm was the official recording for Cobar, in reality it was closer to 200mm.

The town has been tranformed from a dustbowl to much greener environment, the dams and water recreational areas have been filling up and I’ve had to cut the grass.

Making chlidren smile, whats your secret?

Posted about 1 year ago

I have completed taking Santa photos for the local Christmas Crackers Gala evening., an event that you don’t tend to see in big cities.

Everyone comes out, brings the kids to enjoy a fun night for the family.

During my two hour session of getting those special shots of the kiddies with santa, I had a fun time trying to get some to smile, I tried skweaking toys, clapping, pulling faces, m…
