    The Madrones do have a really gorgeous reddish bark—they also are fairly common in the undeveloped canyons in parts of Calf. Stunning capture, love the way the trunk of the Madrone leads to the lighthouse. Sandy

    beautifully composed ~ this tree reminds me of so many others ~ part peeling birch, skin of a rubber and thos windswept driftwood kinds on the western coast ~ I have to vist this place sometime ~ so much beauty ~ til then, I’m glad you’re there with your lenes and grateful you share xx
