While i was having fun with the old ladies i also asked them (again) if i could try to carry one of these big clay waterbowls on my head, first i had to practice and this lady was showing me the ropes…oeps,, that was funny,,till now i still can’t do it..Rajahstan, India

These women seem to have a quite independent lifstyle. I think that may be due to the influence of an earlier matrilinear culture (before male oriented religions…) Have you got any thoughts along these lines?
