Selfportrait, just ‘married in secret’ in Cairo, 1985

My name is Ingetje Tadros, I consider myself a worldtraveller and always having big dreams and goals.
Born in Holland, married in ‘secret’ in Cairo with my Egyptian soulmate now for 22 years. We have 2 flowers of children. Travelled the world (also) with our kids for several years, lived 12 years in New Zealand and after a 1 year Aussie outback trip we ended 6 years ago up in Broome, Western Australia. There we opened up our trendy Restaurant ,Land of Pharaohs, come in when u are in the area ! which we now run for 3 years.All good but I want more than rolling kebabs!! I’ve always been a very passionate photographer and collected so many photos over the years. Last year I decided to buy my ‘new baby’ a Canon5D with an 70-200mm 2.8L lens and went to Rajahstan to do some ‘serious’ work :) I have many photos enlarged on canvas in my restaurant and my customers gave me the last push to ‘do something’ with them…So here I am..Now my ‘dream’ is to make a beautifull photobook about people, for people,.....so thats my goal…:) wish me luck..I love to hear your comments, guiding, advise, tips anything ’’positive’’ is welcome..
it’s GREAT to see soooo much wonderfull work on this site.. and i’m happy to have made some lovely contacts and friends on RB…(now 2009 i’m not active on RB ,I’m starting my own website www.ingetjetadros.com and i am in the process of making my book, this takes all my spare time)
