thank you Greg, I love her too…wherever she is.

Well Andrew…..She could look at someone like she was going to rip them to shreds but she was precious. When she was an itty bitty kitten she was somewhat of a loner, total scaredy cat. My sister came for a visit and decided to take her home with her (we were giving away the kittens) and Demona went ‘Tasmanian Devil’ on her, tore her up and went and hid before they could get her in the cat carrier…..so my sister decided to take the smokey grey kitten instead. Demona hid for about three days rarely spotted her eyes glowing from beneath the furniture or a dark corner here and there. A couple weeks later I heard a heart stopping yeowling and crashing comeing from our deck and went dashing outside. We live in the woods so hard telling what it was besides a cat but I found a dark wet spot on the deck but no sign of any cats, it was very late at night and I walked around calling for Tilly and Demona (Tilly is the momma), no answer from either of them and after an hour or two I gave up and came back in. The next day Nickolas (my youngest son) and I searched and searched. That night there was a terrible storm, again I went out calling for her among the thunder and lightning. :( Still no sign of her…....two days later just as the sun had set and I had givin up hope of ever seeing Demona again I heard a small meowing comeing from the door…...It was Tilly but when I let her in I could see Demona shivering under one of the chairs on the deck. I went and got her and she was feverish and shaking from head to toe, totally lethargic. She didn’t leave my side for three days while I tried to get her feeling better. She totally recovered and from that moment on was the most loving cuddly cat I’d ever had. All summer long I watched her stalking the sprinkler, going into a sneezing fit after sniffing a dandelion gone to seed, chasing butterflies, stalking me through the grass while I was trying to photograph her, watching her look up at the moon but only being able to see her incredible orange eyes. sigh She was also our dogs best friend, they played together all the time. Missy would tip her head way down and shake her head a little so Demona could reach her ears to attack, or lie on the floor and drag her tail back and forth for Demona to play with. hehehe So cute to watch them together. One day I was playing with her on the deck and when she got tired of playing she ran off…....and I never saw her again. I like to think she’s still chasing butterflies somewhere.
So Andrew, a verrrrrrrrry long answer to your question….no she wasn’t demonic at all hehe

Yes Charlie they sure are sweet souls and can be great companions.

Awwwwwwwww Cahtie I am so sorry for the loss of your kitty, I hope this photo brings back happy memories for you

Thank you so much Plasmatwin, she sure did/does have piercing eyes. :)
