Artist's Description

Sandalwood Santalum album is considered sacred by many cultures and has been used in rituals, ceremonies and healing worldwide. Sandalwood incense is often burned during meditation and religious ceremonies as many believe the scent of sandalwood is considered to bring one closer to the divine. If you’ve ever smelt the aroma of true sandalwood, you’ll know that the scent itself is truly divine and I believe there could very well be a possibility of bringing one closer.

Sandalwood chips can be used to ‘smoke’ some foods and can be added to herbal scented bags for clothing, cars, etc. Many use the chips or powered wood on charcoal tablets that allows it to smoulder like an incense. The oil is used in skin care and for wellbeing.

I personally prefer to use the oil for various things including as a natural perfume, however, when I open the jar of sandalwood chips.. not many aromas can compare to the divine scent.
