Monotype with collaged hand made papers
landscape, abstract landscape, monotype, printmaking, grampians, monoprint
Most of my life has been focused around art. I produce prints, paintings, drawings & mixed media works on paper. Drawing on a regular basis is an important part of my routine.
My current work is undergoing many changes; taking chances with my work is a fundamental part of the creative process.
Congratulations on your feature and welcome to the group. We are a new group and hope to expand soon. Your print is lovely and we look forward to seeing more. BillyLee (Peninsula Printmakers Group)

This is my top favourite of your works in 2011. I appreciate your kind support of my works. Thank you very much. Wish you a merry Christmas and time for resting and reflecting.
Interesting group of tones! ;-)
Brings images of Mark Rothko to mind! Beautiful!
Thank you so much, yes Mark Rothko is an inspiration, also the late Lloyd Rees-his last twenty years and many others.
A work to be proud of. Congratulations.
Thank you Karen, I have been working on monotypes recently along these lines and it is so exhausting but satisfying-I just wish I had a slave to clean up when I am finished!
Many thanks Harry , I notice you have an old Yashika camera, I gave one to my husband over 4 decades ago, we still have it, still use it, a brilliant camera, love your photos taken with yours, I like the variety of your work too.
Thank you so much.
Doing some browsing and thought I would hit the search on tag word ‘Grampians’ and thisshowed up in the 1st page. Had to come visit.LOVE the colour combinations and the geometric arrangement/composition. 8)
Thank Kerryn, the Grampians are beautiful at all times of the year but in Spring when the canola is flowering, there are landscapes bathed in bright, almost blinding lemony yellow. Rothko of course inspires free licence to explore colour overlays and bands of colour, the possibilities are endless.
