Creating art is a form of meditation through which magic, beauty, truth, and infinite possibility speak, asking only for expression and translation. Part of my purpose is to be an instrument of this process.

I am hopelessly drawn to vibrant colour, and have had a lifelong love affair with the colour blue. Forests are my haven, open spaces are my joy, and the beach is my sanctuary. I enjoy singing to loud music and playing piano. Most of my art is a combination of my favourite themes – surrealism, fantasy (the “impossible” is such a rich and delicious subject), and poetry. The joy of creating art and poetry is that nothing is impossible – roses can grow on Jupiter, I can fly, apples are blue, music has colour and shape, the constellations can be rearranged, and nothing has to conform to any set standards. It is intoxicating. It is magic.

An Amazing Watercolour Artist

I`m always discovering new talent here on RedBubble, and recently I came across Paul Jackson, who does the most beautiful watercolours. When I found his gallery, I thought many of them were photographs. I am particularly enamored with his study of glass objects. Here are some of my favs. / / The more I look at them, the more impressed I get.
