Heaven's Champagne

In vibrant hues
the autumn leaves
fall sweetly through
the autumn breeze.
They fall through ecstasy
beneath autumn’s golden touch,
reposing in the pleasure
of autumn’s crimson blush.

So sweet is the kiss
of autumn’s silver rain
upon the leaves of yesterday
as they forget summer’s fading name.
All they remember
is the bliss from which they came
as they drown in the passion
of heaven’s sweet champagne.
