This piece reflects the period of transition in which I currently find myself. It’s the end of the year, and naturally I’m thinking of how much I’ve evolved creatively over the last year. I’ve just completed my first poetry book, which is currently in production, and now I find myself looking “beyond my sight” to see what lies out there waiting to be discovered.

Inspired by the song Becoming by Jewel. Unfortunately, I cannot find it anywhere online due to copyright issues, so I can’t provide a link.

Created from 2 stock photos and a variety of digital effects.

Image updated December 30 2008.

Beautiful digital art, I love the crepuscular rays shining over the ocean in the distance and the lovely butterfly in her hair is a nice touch.
