Photo taken September 12, 2009 at the Atlantic Balloon Festival in Sussex, New Brunswick. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen the balloons being inflated and take off, which has really given me a strong need to take a ride in one.

Of the 11 balloons that went up, this one drifted directly above where we were parked, making for one heck of a shot!

Post-processing done to remove grain, improve colour, and enhance cloud cover.
