Thank you to everyone who leaves comments and adds me to their watchlist and favs list. Please know that just because I don’t always send along a personal thank you does not mean your feedback is not appreciated. And big a thank you to all my buyers!
The kick ass brushes I use in my artwork come from Obsidian Dawn, Hawksmont, solenero73, Lady Victoire, and a few others that I can’t place at the moment.

“My talent is debatable. My passion is undeniable.”

“The artist must create a spark before he can make a fire and before art is born, the artist must be ready to be consumed by the fire of his own creation” – Auguste Rodin
“The fact that I myself do not understand what my paintings mean while I am painting them does not imply that they are meaningless.” – Salvador Dali
“We do not see things are they are; we see things as we are.” – Anais Nin
“I prefer to be true to myself, even at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others, rather than be false, and to incur my own abhorrence.” – Frederick Douglass
Hello fellow art lovers in Bubbleland!
My name is StEpHaNiE, although I can think of about 100 other names I’d rather have. Call me whatever you want, just don’t call me late for supper.
I love to write, draw, and take photos. I’ve been drawing since 2000 when I decided to see if I could draw the horse picture that was on my wall (it shocked the hell out of me that I could) but I really began to learn and appreciate drawing after enrolling in the Fine Arts class in highschool. I also took up painting around that time. Recently I have discovered the fun of digital art using Photoshop, Apophysis, and Irfanview.
I have a terribly warped sense of humour and have been known to talk to the television and burst into laughter for no apparent reason (the operative word is apparent). The only voice on earth I can impersonate with any degree of accuracy is that of Eric Cartman from South Park… not sure what that says about me.
My addictions and other things I like
poetry (Robert Frost, Pablo Neruda, Brian Douthit, Edgar Allan Poe, Jewel Kilcher) – music – laughter – the great outdoors – South Park – The Simpsons – Keeping Up Appearances – Mr. Bean – Extras – Cracker – Alan Rickman and all his movies – all things Harry Potter (especially that dark and glorious Potions master…) – Ministry of Magic – RedBubble – listening to and walking in the rain – making a fool of myself in public with my sister – butterflies – listening to the birds sing – dolphins – Marshall Styler – walking in the snow at night – singing in the shower, while I’m driving, anywhere really – Dr. Phil – Paranormal State – The Colbert Report – Lewis Black – the cold side of a pillow – Shakespeare – reading – ‘Conspiracy Theory’ discussions with my dad – hanging out with my sister – tormenting my mom :D

Ode To Summer
On sunny June afternoons I would sit outside and think of how I could express summer in words. After simmering in my brain for a week, this is it. I am particularly proud of this poem.
Birth Of A Poem Beneath An Apple Tree
A recent poem that was inspired by a photo I found here on RedBubble
Origins
This poem is the result of a sort of epiphany I had during the early spring
Dying Colours
A poem to celebrate autumn
Contemplating Grapes
Odd as it may sound, for the past week I’ve had visions of grapes in my head that have been trying to form themselves into somewhat of a coherent poem. Here’s what has become of it…
Heaven Is A Flower
... because I’m a flower lover
