Incognita knew that it had simply been a matter of time... but that didn't stop her panicking
The Museum of Dust is completely, if inconstantly, surrounded by impenetrable forest. In places it comes right up to the building and scrapes and scratches on the windows. Wind and moonlight send monstrous shadows capering and cavorting across Cog’s bedroom wall. They seem to know all her secrets.

One day, I would love to develop characters and places to the extent you have.
I must admit it was a bummer when you removed everything earlier now everything seems a bit misjointed.(to me at least)
Love your style and can’t wait to see where it takes us.

Your a girl?
Firedrake
Love the cavorting beasts. Are they a pair of beakfaces I spy, top left?

I empathise completely with Cog. I even have a pet spider now. Hughie the Huntsman.

Grand! Love your work

Wow—thanks everyone for the comments and the favorites! If this keeps up Cog’s head will start to get even bigger…
Danny; the love is completely mutual (and Cog’s life, tho’ extremely long, has been somewhat mis/dis/unjointed > esp. since she snapped her ankle a few weeks ago > so your perceptions are right on the money…).
LB; actually Cog is a drawing of a girl who just happens to be 417 years old > which is probably why her only friend is a sociopathic arachnid…
Firedrake; Yes! there is a beakface or two amongst them > the shadows are based on a couple of 18thC pictorial alphabets featuring devils and monsters.
Michelle; Inky is asking if I can organise a playdate with Hughie? He also wants to know how big Hughie’s entomotaxy collection is…
And Niffer, Cathie, Tom, Santakaoss and Susan> Inky would like to give you all a big eight-legged hug

I am not sure that Inky should have a play date with Hughie.
Perhaps Inky and I could spend some quality time together but I fear that Hughie would not be a suitable friend for Inky.
I am unable to actually judge how big Hughie’s entomotaxy collection is because he keeps it somewhere within his stomach.
I have had to give Hughie unconditional love because of his tendency towards spider cannibalism.
