Self-portrait with tamer by

Not sure yet what I meant by painting this… Perhaps about conscious or reality or logic (right) and subconcious or dreams or emotions (left) tearing a person apart.

very interesting Ina…Perhaps there is some reference in there to anima/animus as well with the male & female figure? Anyway hope you get to the bottom of the meaning of it for you :)

“Tamer.” Never thought of that one. Perhaps our friend The Doll is being assembled incorrectly; will she be rescued, will an argument ensue, will she be doomed to be a shape-shifter … to be continued
    “The Tamers”

  • hahaha! Thank you so much for stopping by Margot, it is such a pleasure! I don’t know who is doing a better job assembling the dolly, is it the tamer or is it the girl? They both seem to have more philosophical baggage than know-how in assembling! Who knows how the doll looks like in the next painting!

great one Ina… and maybe not always important what it really means….Because , if you could express it in words…. you wouldn’t need to paint it !!!

i dont know way…but i luv it….makes me laugh!! …..it could be a serious situation!!
  • thank you so much Shylie :) I think it is difficult to make someone laugh, so I am happy I could make you laugh! It’s not necessarily a serious painting, I would like people to interpret it as they wish…
