Don’t know how it could be better : made me giggle in a sort of recognition….
Funny how all the beautiful light is on the paper-doll model.

  • Thank you so much for your nice words! This is just a quick webcam photo, but I see that the lighting turned out to be interesting… Thanks!

This one took me a while to see into, but I liked it from the start. For me it begs the question we all have, "does the artist (society) really see me? Or am I just a bunch of parts to be shaped into someone’s idea of what they want for themselves? Really thoughtful art.

  • Thank you so much Ken! Yes, I like your interpretation! The artist sees what they want and interprets the model through his/her own eyes and experiences. After that, the public sees and interprets the artist’s vision through THEIR own eyes and experiences. What is left of the model’s appearance but also of their essence and inner world after the artist and the public has used it for their own interpretations and purposes?
I also wanted to speak about beauty. From right to left, the way we feel, the face we show to society, and the bare truth (the doll model on the left, missing its wig – see picture below).

    so symbolic
like the poet and his muse
    muse are powerfull…. dangerous sometimes…
but what would be the world without them……
