Thanks for the watch, Ina. I’ve perused your remarkable gallery – remarkable for its vitality and profound humanity, and for its imaginative splendor. Your work resonates strongly with me. My father has Alzheimers and my mother is wheelchair-bound. Making art cannot cure them or completely salve my own distress, but there’s no doubt that it helps. Again, thanks.

I will be returning often, for longer looks.

  • Thank you for your message Peter. I wish art could cure. But i fear I can just make you smile for two seconds.

No, no, you make more than smiles – or rather, those smiles are more than just symptomatic relief: they revive the spirit so the spirit can give the body strength.

    EXCELLENT!

  • Helene, thank you for your comment. I’m a big fan of your work. You have some outstanding images on the theme of diseases and disability, especially your painting “and what’s left are the pieces of a woman”.
