Description: Woman in embryon-like position lying in two hands; autumnal landscape background and painted structure. Inspired by the Genesis account of the creation of Eve as well as by Frida Kahlo’s Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit (1932), where Frida is connected to several symbolic images by six umbilical cord-looking red lines. Here there’s only one umbilical cord-looking black ribbon, connecting the woman to the thumb. The connexion is free to interpretation.
