It’s hard work, bending your muscles up in the sky in all kinds of stormy weather, on call, staying there, keeping still. You’d need to be flexible, dedicated, able to pitch in in a crisis.
The Rainbow Workers’ Union has called for regular ‘down time’ to allow rest and recuperation. Free hospital stays for rainbows broken in the line of duty will also be sought. There are rumours of possible rainbow strikes (not to be confused with lightning strikes) if these conditions are not met.
