He walks by,
Wearing a black sweater,
While everyone else
Is wearing blue
He runs by,
On the grass, barefoot,
While everyone else
Is wearing sneakers
He sits,
In the aisle seat,
While everyone else
Wants to sit by the window
He rides home,
Listening to R.E.M,
While everyone else
Sings Christmas carols
He reads
Wuthering Heights,
While everyone
Else is reading Twilight
He gets a B+
Without studying
While everyone else
Crams for an A
He hangs out
With his sister
While everyone else
Wants to start dating
If he had a wish,
He’d wish for reincarnation,
While everyone else
Wished for eternal life
He’s different from them,
Good different,
While everyone else
Is all the same.

Fabulous writing by your daughter. Oddly enough brought to mind one of my favourite sayings by Viv Stanshall (English eccentric singer with the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band which went) "Why can’t I be different and original like everybody else. Namaste
