The soul snatchers

an existentialist perspective on the evilness that exists within some human(s) nature (manipulative, souless people)

The soul snatchers belongs to the following groups:

All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical, Something To Say and The Healing Journey

The soul seekers, the soul eaters
cutting bits and pieces
faces gray
the color of decay
these foul leeches

cutting, cutting, cutting off
little bits and pieces
aiming only those they cannot possess

driven by envy
oh how different are they
than the few of substance

those who walk around with their own light
shinning from deep within
those that are without
do all that is in their power
to make it dim

burn out those who feel life in every inch of their soul
with them out of the way the snatchers misery is at bay

this is no means to an end
transference merely postpones,
it does not mend

just about the cruelest thing one can do is limit someone else’s happiness
either with trickery or candidly the result is the same
this is the soul seeker’s deepest desire

the soul eaters collect memories of these conquests
mementos, a badge of pride
when it comes to machiavellian manipulation of people’s souls
their yeild is bold

alas, they have a weakness of which I am aware
they cannot exist without sensitive souls of which they must share

they are without, these soul seekers
a virus, a parasite, a cancer, a fungus
they cannot exist without a host
these succubuses live amongst us

it is up to us to see with our inner eye
to cut these soul eaters off with all our might

They cannot win
They cannot win
They cannot win

They are how the world ends
