OUT STANDING MASTERPEICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THIS IS MOST BEAUTIFUL
Amanda Hammock, 7 months ago
Now where is her twin?
Very stunning. The texture is, of course, masterful. What I truly find appealing about this is the sense of movement that you have created. As if this Goddess of the forest is not only breathing the whisper of wind that blows through her scared trees, but rather she is the trees that are slightly swaying themselves.
Bravo, dear.

Thanks Grace – I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to get all of the layers (and there are about 9 in this one believe it or not!!) to look and blend right…and it finally came together enough for me to post (I’ve been in one of my hyper-critical “I disavow everything I’ve done before” moods lately which is why I haven’t posted anything the past few days– so please bear with me!)

Hmmm those moods I know them well – they usually signify some sort of a change in my work for me.
This is a lovely soft and gentle peace which has the feel of the deep nurturing woods for me. Mossy and fecund.

I clicked on this thumbnail because she reminded me of Klimt’s women that I love. Then I saw that he was one of the influences you listed-she would fit right into one of his golden mosaic-like paintings! Beautiful image, beautifully layered.
