It’s weird, I’ve always had this thing about insanity…I love horror films set in old asylums, and stories dealing either with the horror or divinity of insanity. Lovecraft in particular.
This piece is so evocative of the things I find attractive about a repellant theme.
(Great, now I really sound like a freak! :D )

This work seems a powerful blending of the past and the present. It is reminiscent of the horror stories I have heard about insane asylums in years past, and also a revealing testament to the insanity of our modern world. Neither are very pretty I guess. Disturbing and powerful image.
