Very colorful and beautiful photo! I see you have the canon 5D, I just bought it last week. Havent taken much photo’s yet.
Do you like your camera?
Bob Wickham replied
Thankyou Ellen.
Yes I do like the camera. I bought it soon after they were released about a year ago. All the recent photos in my gallery were taken with it including those from South America. One of the big advantages of having lots of megapixels is that you can crop an image quite heavily and still have lots of pixels left over. Of course, good quality lenses help a lot.

I dont have many good lenses…(maybe one day when i am rich :).I will look at your photo’s.
Thanks for your reply!
Bob Wickham replied
The lens that usually comes with the camera, the 24-105mm, is a good lens. But I agree, good lenses are expensive. A new camera and international travel has severely delayed any plans I might have of being rich :)
Have fun with your new toy.
Kay Kempton Raade
What a nice trio!
Bob Wickham replied
Thankyou Kay, very much appreciated
Ellen
Thanks Bob! For me the 24-105 would not be good. I love to use a tele-zoom lens. I love to photograph birds or people from a distance.
For my rat photo’s i used a 50mm 1.4, Now i have to buy a 100mm. (because of the full-frame)
My last rat photo was with the 5D mk2 and my 100mm macro-lens.
lilian marshall
