Bottom of lighthouse – Canon 5d mk ii
Top of lighthouse – Canon 400D
All images on separate layers with differing amounts of opacity and masking
A layer filled with rgb 128,128,128 and its blending mode set to vivid light was layed on top. The light beam was ‘cut out’ of this layer.
Finally a soft blue layer was layed on top
