Today I Celebrate
Today I celebrate the beauty of two lovely breasts
breasts that rise and fall with each breath I take.
Beneath them lie my heart and very soul
which they surround and keep safe.
I nestle them in delicate lace and smooth satin
and anoint them with soothing oils.
No longer do I wish them larger or smaller
or anything other than how they are right now.
They are the beauty of my womanhood
myself as nurturer and lover and friend.
My breasts are not who I am but a sacred part of me
and today I celebrate their beauty.
And I invite you to celebrate yours too:
