This is a very good photograph! The pattern and the contrast are excellent. I especially like how the image fades out toward the top. Nicely done

This is awesome Anne….........absolutely a ripsnorter in mono…......isn’t beachsand amazing as a subject? I could wander my beaches for hours, camera in hand, and find something, the most innocuous thing, and be transfixed for an hour or so trying to capture it….....god knows what the tourists think…....”theres that bloody mad photographer the locals warned us about…...!!”........
This has great detail, and sense of depth…...its like massed trees growing straight up altogether!!
Lovely work!!

Pleasant shades of grey. The poem of life all there: in some footprint, and in a wavy mass of sand…

Ok … I’ve looked at this picture a few times, and just now noticed the footsteps. Anne, everything about this picture screams awesome. I love how the top of the picture fades into bright light with the foot step following. Well done.
