Pocket-sized art with more uses than you can wave a Bic at. Birthdays, thanks yous, Valentines or even Wednesdays, there’s always an occasion for a stunning card. From promotional weapon to distant friend-contactor, our cards are more versatile than Optimus Prime.
Cards are designed to suit the most common image ratio of 3:2, but any image size can be printed—we just leave a white border.
Good title and excellent capture.
Definitely a title to get the boys interested!!! but it’s beautiful+ my image feed is full of your lovely flower pics. haven’t got time to go through them all but they are looking very good. Incidentally your portrait picture format is taller and narrower than most, is this straight from the camera or a choice?
Thanks! To be honest I can’t answer your question, some photos I crop a little, others not at all. I almost always shoot in the portrait format, I obviously see things and compositions in that way. I don’t think it is the camera though, I use a Nikon D300 and I never heard anything about formats.

Thanks -it must be just how it looks on my screen, I checked my camera has the same proportion sensor. I was curious because i had heard that some cameras were made with different proportioned sensors and I thought you might have one. There’s been some debate on the net about proportions as some people do not like the 3/2 proportion of the standard sensor which comes from the 35mm tradition and gives a quite tall or long looking image. Nikon apparently do make a camera which gives you the choice 3/2 or 5/4 which is squarer.
Peter, I have checked but as I shoot in RAW I cannot change the sizes so I suppose that when they look narrow, it’s my doing!
